today is the last report for paper cct 1023. in the class, miss azura reminded us to print out the blog list form and evaluation form for assignment. the blog lists form easy for her to check bac our blog posts so that won't miss any of it. i had combined few days post in 1 entry before, izzit ok for that? i think shud be ok....haha...wat ever la...
final exam is coming soon, we still hv 1 group presentation and 1 group assignment to pass up. really wish that i could finish all those stuff asap! then fully concentrate on preparation for final. this semester pass very fast, i feel that i not yet start study but the fact is going to end soon. so stress for me!!!!!argh.....
bac to normal, miss azura asked us to list down the short form we used to use in sms. here the short form i use often.
omg= oh my God! lvl= level k= ok mz= must swt= sweat nite=night fren= friend abt= about bac= back lol= laugh out loud
after the class end, i went to ask miss azura abt the course minor as i know she graduated at here with communication minor in tech comm. she gave me a lot of opinions and advice, now what i need to do is think properly my interest and choose wat i like. hope that i can make a good decision. this is the 1st time i feel lost to my future career. hey fren, wish me luck ya!!!!! :)
p/s: tq miss azura that teach me a lot of knowledge, it really enlarge my view in tech comm field!
after raya, the class seem like lack of ppl. mayb frenz all still in holiday...haha :X
bac to the lesson today, new chapter abt multimedia had been lecture by miss azura. there are 5 components in multimedia include audio, image, video, text and animation. still remember last semester my group members and i had done with 3 short video. everytime i watched bac, i sure will laugh...lol...
really funny with our 'acting'! although my co-curriculem is 'seni lakon', but i totally jv no ant technique of acting. in those 3 short video, i was the director or editor with no any experiences and shooting skill. luckily, had a senior gave me a lot of suggestion and advice in one of the video. mostly the video complete with wat we feel right!!!!:p if i hv time and u all r willing to watch, then onli i upload those 3 video here!
i need to improve these skill due to i plan to step into broadcast field. i wish...i wish i could...=.=
what is RCA connector? i totally dunno wat is that!!! dun worry...it is easy to know when u surfing net and read abt it...lol....
An RCA connector, sometimes called cinch plug or lotus plug, is a type of electrical connector that is commonly used in the audio/video market. The name "RCA" derives from the Radio Corporation of America, which introduced the design by the early 1940s to allow mono phonograph players to be connected to amplifiers.
In the most normal usage, cables have a standard plugon each end, consisting of a central male connector, surrounded by a ring. The ring is often segmented for flexibility. Devices mount the jack, consisting of a central hole with a ring of metal around it. The ring is slightly smaller in diameter and longer than the ring on the plug, allowing the plug's ring to fit tightly over it. The jack has a small area between the outer and inner rings which is filled with an insulator, typically plastic (very early versions, or those made for use as RF connectors used ceramic).
Now onli i know this is the cable i used to see the video player plug into the television. for more information, jz read in wikipedia...:p
i m back to my blog. Seem like i was missing for so long, actually not that long. When bac to uni, damn lazy to come out on9 to sit couple hours to write an post. Besides, i was busy with 2 mid-term exam which on last friday and tuesday. i feel sorry to Miss Azura that i dint update my blog on time. so now i decide to combine all 5 posts in 1. Here i go...
9th September 2009
Today lecture is abt facsimile system and paging system. When I was small age, my home had a fax machine which for business use. The machine is exactly a phone with a scanner inside for copy the documents. Every time it rang, I picked up but no human voice come from the other side..jz sound “dodo…dodo…dodo…”. My mum told me, if heard that sound just press the green button there…that green button write a ‘START’ word. So every time the phone rang, I sure will volunteer to pick up the phone and press the green button. I wonder y that time I m so ‘curious’ with it, jz a fax machine wat. But now when I stay at office, once I hear the machine rang, I will feel geram with the sound cos nobody wan to stop the “rang….rang…rang…” although the machine will auto accept all the call from other.
The paging system remind me that the pager always appear in the 90’s hong kong drama. The hero and heroine sure have their own pager to contact each other. As I remember, it appears quite long time. After tat no more d, cos the cell phones were used at large. This lecturer remind me that still have this kind of things in this world…haha..
6th September 2009 today, lecturer continue with chapter 6 Telecommunication. This lecture is about Telephone System and Celuller Phone System. This 2 system really bring a lot of convenience to me. Look back to my secondary period, i used to contact my frenz with telephone. everday sure will call someone to ask abt homework or talk nonsense...sometime talked for couple hours. we like to call this as 'cooking porridge'..:p... i like 'cooking porridge' cos we could shared alot from that. *wink*
after graduated, we were seldom stay at home since most of us further study in town. we were no longer use telephone to keep in touch. most of us were using cellphone now and for sure we jz sms to contact each other. we are not able to 'cooking porridge' with cellphone since the cost rate high till can make us starving for no money. haha~~ 3 years ago, I used my salary to buy myself a 'whitey' z520i, i m still using it although it almost outdated. This 'whitey' be with me a quite long time, have a 'deep relationship' with it. but i force to plan buy a new 1 since it is going to die T-T, but still cant find a suitable model for myself..so keep researching of it.
2nd September 2009 RazakSAT, named after the second Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Abdul Razak, is a mini class satelite weighing 180kg and the first remote sensing satellite in the world to be obiting the equator. RazakSAT was launched on 14 July 2009 at Kwajalein Island in the Republic of Marshall Islands.
The equatorial orbiting satellite would enable observations of the earth's surface to be made more often compared with a polar obiting satellite. RazakSAT can revisit the same spot four to six times a day and has a 2.5m resolution. Two 'baby' satellites, CubeSAT and InnoSAT, weighing approximately less than 10kg each were also attached to the body of RazakSAT. CubeSAT was developed by Astronautic Technology (M) Sdn Bhd which InnoSAT was developed by Universiti Sains Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Perlis. These baby satellites are to take images for research and development purpose. Government agencies such as the military and police would vet requests for sensitive images. With RazakSAT, Malaysia now has its own satellite to monitor security in the country, natural resources and maritime activity.
30th August 2009 well...today i dint attend the class. last 2 day, received a phone call from home. My mum said that brother's was injured becos fall down from the bicycle. His bone was broke so went for operation. aiks....my mum seldom call me when i was in the uni. Once have any bad news onli will contact me..haiz....hate this kind of feeling so much. So i decided to bac home on Saturday since Monday is National Day. but i force to absent for all class on Sunday. Feel sorry to all lecturer. Pls dun blame me cos i feel that family is important. :p

Coaxial cable, or coax, is an electrical cable with an inner conductor surrounded by a tubular insulating layer typically of a flexible material with a high dielectric constant, all of which are surrounded by a conductive layer (typically of fine woven wire for flexibility, or of a thin metallic foil), and finally covered with a thin insulating layer on the outside. The term coaxial comes from the inner conductor and the outer shield sharing the same geometric axis. Coaxial cable was invented by English engineer and mathematician Oliver Heaviside, who first patented the design in 1880.
Twisted pair cabling is a form of wiring in which two conductors (the forward and return conductors of a single circuit) are twisted together for the purposes of canceling out electromagnetic interference (EMI) from external sources; for instance, electromagnetic radiation from Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cables, and crosstalk between neighboring pairs.

An optical fiber (or fibre) is a glass or plastic fiber that carries light along its length. Fiber optics is the overlap of applied science and engineering concerned with the design and application of optical fibers. Optical fibers are widely used in fiber-optic communications, which permits transmission over longer distances and at higher bandwidths (data rates) than other forms of communications. Fibers are used instead of metal wires because signals travel along them with less loss, and they are also immune to electromagnetic interference. Fibers are also used for illumination, and are wrapped in bundles so they can be used to carry images, thus allowing viewing in tight spaces. Specially designed fibers are used for a variety of other applications, including sensors and fiber lasers.
Light is kept in the core of the optical fiber by total internal reflection. This causes the fiber to act as a waveguide. Fibers which support many propagation paths or transverse modes are called multi-mode fibers (MMF), while those which can only support a single mode are called single-mode fibers(SMF). Multi-mode fibers generally have a larger core diameter, and are used for short-distance communication links and for applications where high power must be transmitted. Single-mode fibers are used for most communication links longer than 550 metres (1,800 ft).
Joining lengths of optical fiber is more complex than joining electrical wire or cable. The ends of the fibers must be carefully cleaved, and then spliced together either mechanically or by fusing them together with an electric arc. Special connectors are used to make removable connections.
23rd August 2009 first lesson after semester break, cant deny that i still in holiday mood. Time went so fast until i am not able to adapt it but force to. What a rainy day, it is good to have a nice dream on bed...but this all jz my dream..because i still in the class since 8am in this morning. Try to pay fully attention to lecturer although very sleepy.
today lesson is all abt internet...so shame that although i using internet for so long, still have many basic i do not know wat is that actually. So many years jz know to use internet for msn, email, browsing web, blogging, facebook & etc. Luckily lecturer lecture a lot of information abt this. At least now i know more abt it and this make me easier to explore more things abt internet. So appreciate have this chance to take this paper. *blink*
Today Miss Azura absent for the class, but the class still go on with her pop quiz she mention b4. Another lecturer help her to guide us. Unfortunately, i dint study due to i rush for the assignment which need to pass up today. Till now, i still not yet complete..so sweat no. Some more dunno how to do the pop quiz although is easy. Haiz!!!! really sad!!!!
B2B (Business-to-Business) Companies doing business with each other such as manufacturers selling to distributors and wholesalers selling to retailers. Pricing is based on quantity of order and is often negotiable.
B2C (Business-to-Consumer) Businesses selling to the general public typically through catalogs utilizing shopping cart software. By dollar volume, B2B takes the prize, however B2C is really what the average Joe has in mind with regards to ecommerce as a whole.
C2C (Consumer-to-Consumer) There are many sites offering free classifieds, auctions, and forums where individuals can buy and sell thanks to online payment systems like PayPal where people can send and receive money online with ease. eBay's auction service is a great example of where person-to-person transactions take place everyday since 1995.

This post suppose need to post last 2 week. but i was too busy to rush my assignment so i left it there until now onli i have time to post it..Sorry ya, Miss Azura! Pls forgive me...>.<
Last week, our uni had been rustication for 1 week. So today we go to class as usual...today lesson is about components in computer. Dunno why that i feel very tired for whole morning..i try to pay attention in the class. Luckily, the lecturer show a lot of photos in the slide awake me from getting flow to other place. The picture remind me that i was used such technology long ago. Now we are using more advance which are more convenience to us. Sometime feel good with their improvement..bring a lot of benefits to society but can't deny its bring disadvantage too.
Lecturer mention that do not lay our hand on the keyboard when typing by using the laptop. It can course hand disease such as cancer due to the radiation. Some cases of this disease happened since 2 or 3 years ago. Gosh!!! Every time i was typing sure lay on it...*sweat* What ever la...i cant control any disease to attack in my body...just bow to the inevitable. In my mind, i already set up with ''keep hiding and avoiding something that i do not wish, sure will make it come as real!'' So what for i always prevent somethings that can course me lost another more important?
Before lecturer dismiss us, she remind us to do revision for all the lecture. Maybe next class will hv a pop quiz..or next week. Haiz...i haven't start yet..wish that i have time to do so asap...
Today is the due date of individual assignment. Although I completed early, but still make a lot of mistake on APA System. Though I had experience with assignment on last 2 semesters, I admit that I not familiar with APA System nonetheless. Some more mostly course mates misunderstood with Miss Azura’s instruction, so we all need to correct all the mistaken. Hence, lecturer used half an hour to look over our assignment after she lectured chapter 3. Luckily I use that half hour to correct, printed out and passed up to her, if not I need to pass up on next Sunday due to UUM rustication for 1 week.
Well, after completed this assignment. It is time for me to worry another 2 assignments which need to pass up next month. Both are hard and not easy to do, I haven’t start yet and do not know how to start. Gosh! Scare~~T.T *trembling*
God, RESCUE ME from the assignments please!!!
Opps...i forget something important! Lecturer told us to study n well prepare because she will give us pop quiz before our semester break. Gosh~~9th of august i need to attend my sister's convocation at kl, i cant attend the class on that day. Wish that lecturer would not give the quiz...>.<*pray*
Mac OS X is a line of computer operating systems developed, marketed, and sold by Apple Inc., and since 2002 has been included with all new Macintosh computer systems. It is the successor to Mac OS 9, the final release of the "classic" Mac OS, which had been Apple's primary operating system since 1984. Mac OS X, whose "X" represents the Roman numeral for "10" and is a prominent part of its brand identity, is a Unix-based operating system, built on technologies developed at NeXT between the second half of the 1980s and Apple's purchase of the company in early 1996. Its sixth and most recent version, Mac OS X v10.5 is certified UNIX 03 while running on Intel processors.
The first version released was Mac OS X Server 1.0 in 1999, and a desktop-oriented version, Mac OS X version 10.0 followed on March 24, 2001. Releases of Mac OS X are named after big cats; for example, Mac OS X v10.5 is usually referred to by Apple and users as "Leopard". The server edition, Mac OS X Server, is architecturally identical to its desktop counterpart, and includes tools to facilitate management of workgroups of Mac OS X machines, and to provide access to network services. These tools include a mail transfer agent, a Samba server, an LDAP server, a domain name server, and others. It is pre-loaded on Apple's Xserve server hardware, but can be run on most of Apple's computer models.
Apple also produces specialized versions of Mac OS X for use on three of its consumer devices; the iPhone OS for the iPhone and iPod Touch, and an unnamed version for the Apple TV.

Wow~~grey apple vs colourful flag. So fast the new windows 7 is going to release soon..IT world keep improving so fast. The developing countries really hard to keep up with the step...of course us too. Sigh~~
Recently so admire with apple iPhone, wish that i was able to buy it. But, i know that is impossible to happen due to i m using ptptn for my living expenses now. Started from the 1st step foot on university, i try not to ask money from parents. i should be learn to manage my financal, but it is hard. You know why? Cause i still not yet get my ptptn...some more i totally finished my saving since last semester i only got rm0.7k. This make my condition getting worst. So sweat now...when only i have money to use? So "good" with their excuse of technical problem!!!
Today’s lesson talks about revolution of technology. I wish to learn more about the Moses code, I knew those code before but almost forget all…wish to figure out how people can communicate with press such code. If have chance, I m willing to try. ^.^v
Those creators were so genius to create such complicated things. Of course they had been failed before but they never gave up with what they faced. We should learn those spirits of go for success from them. If without these kind of creation, i can’t even post any posts here…and you either. So we should appreciate what we have now…
Today, we start our 1st chapter of Comm. Tech. ,it quite similar with ICT that I took before. Due to some technical problem, Miss Azura lecture without using slide show. But the process of learning still can run smoothly. Before the end of the class, lecturer show us some picture of optical illusion. it was fully caught my attention and amused me a lot, some of them I saw on internet before. What I think is these kinds of photos might be train our sight, different people will see different of image. People who create these sure was the ingenious people. Amazing~~
That day i had an opportunity to know my classmate during the class of technology communication. What Miss Azura said was right...we are communication students so we need to interact with other bravery. Well...maybe we cant know them deeply but at least we know how to addressing each other...
I use a different method to show my frenz details, wish that not mess u up! Let start...
